The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and self-motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our client’s team in a thriving practice in Ontario. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including charting, periodontal probing, and vital signs monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized dental hygiene care plans.
- Perform scaling and root planing, polishing, fluoride application, and other preventative and therapeutic procedures.
- Provide thorough patient education on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and nutritional counseling.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with the dentist and the entire dental team to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to all provincial and federal regulations, including infection control protocols and privacy legislation.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Must be currently registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Up-to-date certification in CPR/BLS.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with dental software
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
