Our Vaughan location is looking to add Material Supply Personnel to our team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure continued compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, JHSC recommendations or MOL work orders, company safety rules and good manufacturing practices, including HACCP and BRC programs
- Take initiative and exercise timely and good judgment in day-to-day business decisions
- Ensure all received items meet all quality requirements, including completion of all related paperwork
- Provide innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives to upgrade the department
- Perform inventory count of finished goods products and complete related paperwork
- Perform FIFO audits of finished goods to ensure shipping procedures are being followed reporting any discrepancies
- Perform depot/trailer audits as directed, including food service sku’s
- Assist in raw material and packaging inventories as requested.
- Perform product allocations including PC DATA system functions to assist the supervisor during roll season
- This position will require some flexibility in work hours including period /year end inventories, audits, and product recalls
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Relevant education with a bachelor's degree and/or specialized certificate.
- Ability to communicate and work with all relevant associates, stakeholders, and resources in a frequently changing and challenging supply chain environment.
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Strong organization skills with sound prioritizing abilities.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office systems.
- Experience with Oracle systems is an asset
- Knowledge of health and safety standards, regulations, and best practices an asset.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (one Saturday per month)
Pay: $58,000-$62,000 annually to start
