Cash & Carry Clerk (with Order Desk & Customer Service Cross‑Training)

Location: Warehouse

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

 

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and customer‑focused Cash & Carry Clerk to join our warehouse team. This position includes cross‑training for order desk and customer service support, ensuring seamless assistance across walk‑in sales, order processing, and customer inquiries.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering a positive customer experience while maintaining accuracy in all transactions and communications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist walk‑in customers and support daily Cash & Carry operations
  • Perform accurate order entry, including adjustments and updates
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, orders, and account information
  • Identify and resolve product or service issues with timely follow up
  • Handle customer complaints professionally via phone, email, or in person
  • Support order placement, refunds, exchanges, and online account setup
  • Verify customer information, process payments, and update account details
  • Provide product information, company policies, and recall support when required
  • Maintain communication standards, procedures, and policies
  • Complete additional warehouse or administrative duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience with strong phone and active listening abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience in a warehouse, retail, or order desk environment is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with financial or order‑entry software; Sage 300 is considered an asset
